“Victoria” Bangles - 1st Runner-up
The 21st Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition ( HKTDC)
During 2020, the covid virus were faced around the world. The jewellery fair and awards ceremony can not be held as usual in Hong Kong.
However, I am still happy to hear that "Victoria" bangles won the 1st Runner-up in the '21st Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition'.
"Victoria"- Bangles
The 21st Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition' which was held by Hong Kong Trade Development Council. The bangles can be worn in three ways showing different day and night views of the Victoria Harbour. The significant focus is to use the "puzzle" wearing method. That aims to bring people from all walks of life across the straits closer together to break the divide and divide.
In addition, the drop-shaped crystal stone design stands for the continuous hard work of citizens to foster a harmonious community. It creates a relatively inclusive society.
Nowadays, there are many issues in Hong Kong society that we need to face, such as people disagreements and the gap between the rich and the poor. I hope that through these two bangles, I can bring forward positive messages to let the public know that everyone needs to live together peacefully and work together to build a brighter future and harmonious community.
